BANXNO Market — About

A peer-to-peer marketplace for digital goods. Here is how everything works.

BANXNO Market is a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling digital and physical items using Banano (BAN) or Nano (XNO).

Auto Delivery — For digital items such as gift cards, coupon codes, and software keys, sellers preload the deliverable content when creating the listing. Upon purchase, the buyer receives the code or key instantly. Payment is held in escrow and released to the seller when buyer confirms satisfactory or automatically after 3 days unless the buyer raises a dispute.

Manual Delivery — For physical items (shipped goods, merchandise) or interactive digital items (services, custom content, items requiring the buyer's details), the seller sets a delivery window of up to 90 days. After purchase, the buyer and seller coordinate through the order message thread. When the delivery window expires the buyer is notified and has 3 days to confirm receipt or raise a dispute. Payment is released once the order is confirmed or the 3-day window passes without a dispute.

In both cases, a 2% listing fee is charged upfront and refunded if the listing is cancelled or expires without a sale.

You can register with your email address. After registering you can log in with your email and password.
Alternatively, you can log in directly with your Banano or Nano wallet address — no registration required. The small amount you send for login verification is credited to your account.

Your Balance page shows your BAN and XNO balances and lets you withdraw to your wallet. To add funds, send BAN or XNO to the deposit address shown on the balance page — it will be credited within a few seconds.

The Browse page shows listings organised by category. Click a category to see all active listings in it, or choose "All Listings" to see everything. Click any listing title to view its full details and purchase it.

To sell an item, go to Create Listing and fill in the title, description, category, and price. You will also choose a delivery type:

Auto Delivery — For digital items such as gift cards, coupon codes, and software keys. You preload the code or key when creating the listing, and it is delivered to the buyer instantly upon purchase. No further action is required from you after the sale.

Manual Delivery — For physical items or interactive digital items that require coordination with the buyer. You set a delivery window (1–90 days). After purchase, use the order message thread to arrange delivery. When the delivery window expires the buyer has 3 days to confirm or dispute.

A 2% listing fee is charged upfront and refunded if the listing is cancelled or expires without a sale — it is only kept by the platform on a successful sale. You can also set a minimum buyer reputation requirement to restrict your listing to buyers with an established track record.

Authorized Seller is an optional subscription that unlocks advanced selling tools: pricing your listings in US dollars (USD) and — if both your wallets are linked — cross-listing a single item in both BAN and XNO at the same time.

Subscribing — Visit the Seller Plan page. It shows your current status, your expiration date (if any), and your balance. Choose a plan and pay from your balance in your account's coin; longer plans cost less per day. If your account is in XNO, you pay the equivalent amount in XNO, converted at the current market exchange rate. The Seller Plan page always shows the current cost of each plan in your coin.

Extending — Paying again while you are still active adds the new period on top of your current expiration date, so no remaining time is lost. When a subscription expires you simply lose access to the advanced tools; any listings you already created keep working. Subscription payments are deducted from your balance and are not refundable.

These tools are available to Authorized Sellers. When you create a listing you will see extra options:

List in USD — Instead of entering a fixed BAN or XNO amount, you enter the price in US dollars. The listing is converted to your coin at the current market exchange rate, and the coin price is then kept up to date automatically — roughly once an hour the coin amount is recalculated so it always reflects your intended USD value as exchange rates move. To protect you from short-lived market anomalies, each automatic update can only adjust the price by a limited amount per cycle, so a brief rate spike cannot distort your listing.

Cross-listing (dual listing) — Available when both your BAN and XNO accounts have been linked together. With cross-listing, one item is listed at the same time in both BAN and XNO, so buyers can pay in whichever coin they prefer. Both listings share the same details and the same deliverable. Because it is a single item, the instant it sells in one coin the matching listing in the other coin is automatically removed and its listing fee refunded — so the item can never be sold twice. Cross-listing requires USD pricing to be turned on, and each of the two listings charges its own 2% listing fee from the matching account when created.

Linking your two wallets is arranged by the platform — please contact support to set it up (it is not self-service). USD pricing on its own does not require linking; any Authorized Seller can use it on a single account.

Authorized Sellers see a Ledger link in the menu. It lists the realized proceeds from your completed sales — the coin amount you received and its USD value at the time of settlement — along with per-coin totals, so you can see how much of each coin you have earned and at what USD value. If your BAN and XNO accounts are linked, the ledger combines both.

To purchase, open a listing and click Buy. The full price is deducted from your balance immediately and held in escrow.

Auto Delivery — The code or key is shown on your order page instantly. You have 3 days to confirm receipt or raise a dispute. If you do nothing, the order completes automatically after 3 days and payment is released to the seller.

Manual Delivery — The seller has a set delivery window to deliver the item. Use the order message thread to coordinate (e.g. share your address or email). When the delivery window expires you will receive a notice and have 3 days to confirm receipt or raise a dispute. If you do nothing, the order completes automatically.

You can confirm receipt early at any time on the order page, which releases payment to the seller immediately.

Reputation is a score that reflects your history of successful transactions on the market. Both buyers and sellers earn reputation on every completed order, in proportion to the value of the transaction.
Reputation builds up over time and is visible to other users on listings. Sellers can require a minimum buyer reputation to protect themselves from unknown buyers. A high reputation signals trustworthiness to your trading partners. It can also affect the outcome of a dispute, and your reputation may change as a result of one.
Reputation is only earned on fully completed orders — cancelled, expired, or disputed orders do not generate reputation.

You can also purchase reputation directly via the Buy Rep page. Each unit of reputation costs 2 BAN or XNO (matching your account type) to deter abuse. Purchased reputation works identically to earned reputation and is permanent — it cannot be refunded. Note that reputation displayed in the navbar reflects your available reputation — any reputation locked by pending orders or open disputes is temporarily deducted from the displayed value. For manual delivery listings, reputation remains locked for the seller's entire delivery window plus 3 days, which may be significantly longer than the 3-day window for auto delivery items.

If there is a problem with your order you can raise a dispute requesting either a full or partial refund. The window for raising a dispute depends on the delivery type:

Auto Delivery — You have 3 days from the purchase date to raise a dispute. You can confirm receipt at any time before that window closes; confirming early releases payment to the seller immediately.

Manual Delivery — You can confirm receipt at any time. However, disputes can only be raised after the seller's delivery window has closed. Once the window closes you have 3 days to confirm or dispute.

When a dispute is opened the seller is notified and has 7 days to respond. They can accept the refund request (settling the dispute immediately) or refuse it.

If the seller does not respond within 7 days, the dispute is resolved automatically in the buyer's favour — the buyer receives exactly the amount they requested and neither party's reputation is affected.

When the buyer and the seller cannot agree on a dispute, it is settled by the system. The settlement decision is based on many factors, and because the system has no way to know the truth, both sides will generally suffer some loss. You may not receive the full amount you were hoping for, and your reputation will typically decrease after a settlement. Both parties are notified of the outcome — the amount each receives and any change to their reputation.

If the buyer and the seller resolve the issue directly through the order message thread, the buyer can cancel an open dispute (as long as the seller has not yet responded). The order returns to pending and the normal completion window applies.

The Notices page shows system notifications — order updates, dispute events, and completion confirmations. You can delete individual notices or clear them all.
